Right to Insights (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in European Union law which took effect on May 25, 2018. Privacy and data protection inside and outside of the EU are the main points of the law.

According to the Right to Insights part of GDPR, Adform is able to show the recorded user information, even immediately deleted. To make a request for the data extraction:

  1. Log in to the Adform system and authenticate with OAuth 2.0. Read Authorization Guide for more details.
  2. Make a request for the data extraction. All the data is associated with cookieID which needs to be provided.
  3. Observe the operation’s status and location. You’ll receive a data location as soon as the status will be changed to ‘succeeded’.

Right to be Forgotten (GDPR)

Right to be Forgotten is one of the key concepts of GDPR. According to the law, every person can decline a participation in any kind of advertising activities. For example, that person has a right to blacklist himself from the ad targeting or storing a cookie data.

As the result, agencies, advertisers and other subjects that manage user privacy should implement an opt-out option for the webpages. It will allow to fulfil the regulation.
